I sit in my car as I write this blog post
I’d like to first share that I attended ToastMasters for the 1st time tonite. It was really insightful & fun, & I engaged in more hand shaking & clapping tonight than I ever have in my life.
I plan to return.
Other than that, have you guys ever felt close to Jesus and to the Holy Spirit but needed to work on intimacy and trust with the Father? That’s where I am right now. I’ve had plenty of moments with the Father but at this stage of my journey, I’m really focused on learning to trust Him more and on being able to discern His unconditional love.
Funny enough, “discernment” was the word of the day at ToastMasters tonight.
I’m excited about the season I’m entering into: a season of dropping imposter syndrome, of growing in discernment, & of really resting in my Father’s love.
I think it’s time for my heart to just rest in His love, & I have the time and the space to do just that.

An image of me from 2019. I had moved to Florida from Georgia in late 2018 to separate from and divorce the guy I was married to at the time.
All I can say is, the road hasn't been perfect, but it's been much better since leaving. Single life at its worst was still much better than the marriage ever was at its best.
Thanks to everyone who sacrificed for me and who held me up until I was able to stand on my own.
At this stage in my life in September 2026, I can truly say that I'm able to stand on my own for good now.
I thank the Lord, my family, and my community (both past and current), and I pray that I'm there for you guys now and in the future in a way that allows y'all to reap a bountiful harvest.💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
